The basic form of the
frunk
MG5 Electric is made of ABS V0 using thermoforming technology.
ABS V0 is characterized by the following properties:
- Excellent fire retardant properties
- High mechanical strength
- Silk matt, resistant surface
All screws and nuts are made of high quality stainless steel.
All design variants are supplied assembled. (no kit)
Simple, multilingual installation instructions are included.

MG5 Electric consists of the following individual parts:
A charging tray for the engine compartment of your e-car to create additional space for charging equipment and accessories. Now you can safely and neatly store your charging cables, adapters and various car accessories. This keeps your trunk free for important things and your charging cables are always freely accessible and immediately available.
The optional luggage net gives you the option of securing cargo separately.
The optional, precisely fitting anti-slip mat prevents the load from slipping and dampens noise generated by uneven surfaces.

Der Versand war sehr schnell, nur die Deutsche Post hat noch drei Tage gebraucht.
Sehr gut verpackt und mit sämtlichen nötigen Teilen geliefert. Klare Anleitung dabei.
Der Frunk an sich macht einen guten Eindruck, das AC-Ladekabel und das “§§-Set” (Verbandkasten, Warndreieck, Warnweste) passen gut rein.
Wie es sich über die Jahre macht, kann ich noch nicht sagen.
Der Preis ist noch okay, am oberen Ende des noch akzeptablen Spektrums.

Tolles und gelungenes Produkt (Frunk mit Netz und Matte). Sehr schnelle Lieferung (3 Arbeitstage). Montage total easy, Einbau war in ca. 10 Minuten erledigt, ok ich hatte die Motorraumverkleidung schon vorher ein paarmal ab und dadurch ein weinig Übung. Das Produkt kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen, das gesamte Kofferraum Gedöns (Kabel, Verbandkasten, Warndreieck usw.) liegt jetzt vorne im Funk. Danke für die Nette Konversation und die schnelle Antwort von Herrn Breinlinger per Mail.

Größer als erwartet, einfach einzubauen und schon hat man sein Ladekabel im einfachen Zugriff. Was ich vorher nicht auf dem Schirm hatte, das Netz ist so, dass man dazwischen Dinge spannen kann. Schönes Detail

Etwa 2 Wochen nach Bestellung Frunk erhalten (wohne in D) und auch gleich eingebaut. Der Einbau ist sehr einfach und war auch schnell erledigt.
Der Frunk selber fühlt sich sehr stabil an und bietet viel Platz. “Zufälligerweise” passt die MG-Tasche mit dem Ladekabel genau auf die obere Fläche. Ich habe noch zusätzlich ein zweites Warndreieck vorne reingepackt und es ist immer noch Platz für Weiteres.
Bin sehr zufrieden.
Praxistauglichkeit muss sich in den nächsten Wochen und Monaten beweisen, bin aber optimistisch.
