The frunk ID.7 consists of the following individual parts:

  1. A charging tray for the engine compartment of your e-car to create additional space for charging equipment and car accessories.
  2. A luggage net with bag for your frunk.
  3. A gas spring for your hood.

Optional:

One Large bag (52 x 13 x 20 cm) for your frunk.
One Small bag (28 x 13 x 28 cm) for your frunk.

The basic form of the frunk ID.7 is made from ABS V0 using thermoforming technology.

ABS V0 is characterized by the following properties:

  • Excellent fire retardant properties
  • High mechanical strength
  • Silk matt, resistant surface

All screws and nuts are made of high quality stainless steel.

All design variants are supplied assembled. (no kit)

Simple, multilingual installation instructions are included.

The frunk ID.7 consists of the following individual parts:

A charging tray for the engine compartment of your e-car to create additional space for charging equipment and accessories. Now you can safely and neatly store your charging cables, adapters and various car accessories. This keeps your trunk free for important things and your charging cables are always freely accessible and immediately available.

A double luggage net with intermediate compartment gives you the option of securing loads separately.

Optional bags are provided for storing small parts:
The Large bag is ideal for transporting longer products such as a warning triangle or car jack: Warning triangle or car jack.
The Small bag can be used for additional cables or the emergency charger, for example.

The installation kit gas pressure spring consists of a gas pressure spring incl. Mounting hardware and simple installation instructions. The gas struts were specially developed for the VW ID.7 and the pressure was precisely adjusted.

    Received my frunk ytd from Austria, and the instruction were clear with pictures (even possible to watch video if they should be unclear). Product seems sturdy and it was a perfect fit. Installation took about 5min from taken out of the box to the frunk and gas spring was in place. Even got a small pack with Haribo gummybears! Highly recommended!

    Der Frunk wurde innerhalb weniger Tage (nach Süddeutschland) geliefert. Macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und sitzt fest, ohne zu klappern, auf den Streben im “Motorraum”. Ich verwende ihn um die beiden Original-Kabel von Volkswagen, das Typ 2-Ladekabel und das zum Laden an einer Schuko-Steckdose, unterzubringen. Habe mir die große Tasche dazu gekauft. Aber wenn ich das Schuko-Ladekabel mit Steuereinheit darin verstaue wird das Paket zu dick und steht wenige Zentimeter über den Frunk hinasu, daher verwende ich die Tasche leider doch nicht.

    Man benötigt einen 13er und einen 12er Schlüssel und inkl. Lesen und Werkzeug holen 10 Minuten für den Einbau… Genial 😉
    Endlich ein guter Platz fürs Ladekabel und endlich eine adäquate Motorhauben-Halterung mittels Gasdruck…
    Bin sehr zufrieden und es ging wirklich schnell…
    Somit ist der ID.7 nun auch vorne rum premium!

    The frunk I ordered arrived within a week. Fitting the frunk (2 minutes) and the gas pressure damper (6 minutes) was very easy.
    During a test drive I did not notice any rattling noises or anything like that.
    Highly recommended!
