The basic form of the frunk ID.7 is made from ABS V0 using thermoforming technology.

ABS V0 is characterized by the following properties:

  • Excellent fire retardant properties
  • High mechanical strength
  • Silk matt, resistant surface

All screws and nuts are made of high quality stainless steel.

All design variants are supplied assembled. (no kit)

Simple, multilingual installation instructions are included.

The frunk ID.7 consists of the following individual parts:

A charging tray for the engine compartment of your e-car to create additional space for charging equipment and accessories. Now you can safely and neatly store your charging cables, adapters and various car accessories. This keeps your trunk free for important things and your charging cables are always freely accessible and immediately available.

A double luggage net with intermediate compartment gives you the option of securing loads separately.

Optional bags are provided for storing small parts:
The Large bag is ideal for transporting longer products such as a warning triangle or car jack: Warning triangle or car jack.
The Small bag can be used for additional cables or the emergency charger, for example.

    Kann mich den Vorgänger-Rezensionen nur anschließen: Einfach einzuklicken, durchdacht und stabil. Endlich die Ladekabel nicht mehr im Kofferraum unter der Ladung versteckt, sondern direkt greifbar – so soll es sein in der E-Mobilität.

    Die Beschreibung vom 14.1. ist nicht korrekt, da ich das Set bestellt habe und nicht den Frunk Solo. Habe heute den Gasdruckheber demontiert und die Haube schließt wieder einwandfrei. Die Wanne ist von sehr guter Qualität und kann guten Gewissens empfohlen werden.

    Lieferung prompt. Einbau sehr einfach. Alles passgenau. Sehr gutes Produkt. Fronthaube geht jetzt schwer zu. Wird wohl Einstellungssache sein. Zwischen Bestellung und Lieferung wurde offensichtlich der Preis nicht unerheblich reduziert. Dafür hat man 2 Taschen und einen Müllbecher dazugegeben, die ich allerding nicht brauche

    Der Frunk ist absolut passgenau, die Montage dadurch Kinderleicht und in Sekunden erledigt

    Sitzt auf Anhieb perfekt, man kann nicht von Montage oder Demontage reden, nur von Reinklipsen und wieder Abnehmen.
    Die Kunststoffwanne ist gut verarbeitet. Auf Anfrage konnte frunk.at seriöse, nachvollziehbare Zertifikate zum Kunststoff liefern, der daher wirklich die notwendigen Materialeigenschaften hat.
    Grundsätzlich wird das Ganze nur dadurch limitiert, dass man nicht mal einfach die Fronthaube von außen öffnen kann, sondern es wie eine Motorhaube funktioniert und man innen einen Hebel ziehen muss.
    Auf den Gasdruckdämpfer habe ich bewusst verzichtet, um nicht rechtliche Probleme zusammen mit der aktiven Motorhaube zu bekommen.
    Dazu ist natürlich der verfügbare Platz im ID7 mangels sinnvoller Frunk-Konzeption von VW begrenzt. Bei mir reicht es aber für Typ2-Kabel, Schuko-Ladeziegel und Starthilfekabel.

    Samstag bestellt, Dienstag Abend geliefert. 3 min zum Auspacken und 3 min zum Einbauen. Fertig. Passt perfekt und eine Aufwertung für meinen ID.7.

    I ordered the Frunk, from abroad, last Tuesday, and just 4 days later I received the piece. Installation was easy, I just had to turn the second (middle) clamp a tiny bit (using my fingers) in order to align it perfectly with the bar upon which it rests. I can put in both load cables, and still have some more space left. The frunk is typically a good place to store items that tend to get dirty, so you can keep them out of the main trunk. Like engine oil ;). Really strange that VW did not figure out to add this item themselves, but that s where the aftermarket business is for.

    Gestern habe ich den Bausatz für meine ID.7 erhalten. Sehr einfache Montage und schön gemachtes Produkt. Ich empfehle es. Es behebt zwei wesentliche Mängel des ID.7 – den vorderen Kofferraum und die Gasdruckfeder-Vorderhaube
