The gas strut is the ideal addition for the frunk / front luggage compartment in the ID.4

The installation kit gas pressure spring consists of a gas pressure spring incl. Mounting hardware and simple installation instructions. The gas springs were specially developed for the VW ID.4 and ID.5, the pressure precisely adjusted.

Fits all vehicle variants ( rear wheel drive, GTX, left and right hand drive vehicles).

Delivery content:

1 x mounting bracket with ball stud
1 x ball stud

    Gasdruckfeder VW ID.5
    Wirklich gutes Teil wie beschrieben.
    Die Motorhaube bleibt jetzt auch oben wie man es bei anderen PKW´s gewohnt ist.
    Habe hier die original Halterung mit einem kleinen Kabelbinder fixiert – beim Werkstattbesuch wird diese dann nicht aus versehen benutzt – man weis ja nie :-).

    Super Qualität, sehr wertige Ausführung und super easy zum einbauen, wer den Frunk bestellt, dem empfehle ich, gleich direkt mit Gasdruckfeder zu bestellen, macht die Nutzung einfacher und spart Versandkosten.
    Ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist beim Einbau die im Video empfohlene Motorraumabdeckung, meine Kunstoffscheibe ist für immer in den ID.4 Tiefen verschwunden, weil ich zu faul war, kurz eine Abdeckung auszulegen… (*übermichselbstärger*)

    Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man den Frunk nutzen will, da man nicht mit dem Originalstab für die Haubenhalterung hantieren muss, sondern die Haube einfach oben bleibt. Die mitgelieferte Einbauanleitung auf Papier ist ein wenig kompliziert. Dafür führt gibt es aber einen QR Code auf der Einbauanleitung, der zu einem wirklich guten Erklärvideo führt, das man sich unbedingt vorher ansehen sollte. Danach ist der Einbau ein Kinderspiel.
