The basic design of the Frunks is manufactured using deep-drawing technology from ABS V0.

ABS V0 is characterized by the following properties:

Excellent flame-retardant properties
High mechanical strength
Silk-matte, durable surface

All screw connections on the Frunk are made of high-quality stainless steel.

All models are delivered fully assembled. (Not a kit.)

Simple, multilingual installation instructions are included.

The Frunk consists of the following components:

A charging tray for the engine compartment of your electric car, designed to create additional space for charging equipment and accessories. You can now safely and neatly store your charging cables, adapters, and various car accessories. This keeps your trunk free for important items, and your charging cables are always easily accessible and immediately available.

An optional small bag for the upper part of your Frunk.

The optional luggage net lets you secure small items separately.

The optional, custom-fit anti-slip mat prevents cargo from sliding and reduces noise on uneven surfaces.

Super leichter Einbau, tolle Platzerweiterung. Das Einzige was noch “fehlt” wäre eine andere Verschlussmöglichkeit der Motorhaube, also so wie am Kofferraum. Aber das ist wohl eher ein Thema für den Hersteller des Fahrzeugs.

Frunk ist wirklich groß uns sehr praktisch. Auchnach mehreren Fahrten durch die Waschstraße war alles trocken. 10/10 kann ich nur empfehlen.

(Die Tasche fusselt recht stark. Hab sie jetzt als Aufbewahrung in der Ersatzreifen im Gang für Felgenmuttern etc)

Super Produkt. Ist gestern angekommen und wurde heute Verbaut.
Passt gut.

Ich habe auch ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge. Es ist ja noch genug Platz vorhanden, er hätte etwas tiefer sein können sowie in Fahrtrichtung rechts nähe Spritzwand, hätte man noch eine Abstützung verbauen können sowie ein weiteres kleineres Fach. Wieso wurde dieses nicht mit in Betracht gezogen. Das wäre mega gewesen.
Ich bin erstaunt wie groß er dennoch ist, überraschend das er vorn am Haubenschloss so weit hoch steht, aber es passt.

schnelle Lieferung, einfacher Einbau
Tipp: unbedingt beim Lösen der eingebauten Abdeckung nicht nur die Plastikschrauben, sondern auch den zweiten losen Teil, in den die Schrauben kommen, rauszunehmen – dachte nicht dran und drei Stück sind in den Tiefen verschwunden – kann der Frunk natürlich nichts dafür…
Frunk ist wirklich groß. Bei mir passen ein 5m Typ 2 32A Kabel, die go-e Wallbox mit drei Anschlusskabeln und ein 10m 16A Starkstromkabel rein…
So ist der Kofferraum leer und bei vollem Kofferraum muss ich nicht immer dran denken, die Kabel oben drauf zu verstauen…

Schnelle Lieferung, passgenaues Produkt, gute Anleitung.
Aber bei meinem MG ist an dem Halterahmen die Notentriegelung für den Ladeanschluss befestigt.
Ich habe diesen erst mal mit einem Kabelbinder am nächsten orangenen Kabelschutz befestigt. Würde mich aber dafür interessieren ob es eine bessere Lösung gibt.

  beim MG5 wurde ab Auslieferung ca. 03/2023 eine zusätzliche Notentriegelung eingebaut. Für die Befestigung legen wir nun einen Winkel bei, mit dem die Notentriegelung bei Bedarf befestigt werden kann.
